Contract

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Cartridge Discount) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and dispatched by us. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Cartridge Discount of your order. In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.

Enquiries About Orders Placed

If for any reason you need to contact us with regard to a particular order please e-mail our customer service team at [email protected] or phone 01670 432 040. Please quote your name, order I.D. order date and product ordered in all communications

Postage and Delivery

We currently offer the following three delivery methods:

Free Standard Delivery *: This is a Royal Mail 2nd Class service with an estimated delivery time of 2 to 4 working days. The time scale is used as a guide and not guaranteed.

Royal mail 1st Class: The estimated delivery time for this service is 1 to 3 working days. Once again the time scale is used as a guide and not guaranteed.

Next Working Day: This service is only avaiable for a UK Mainland delivery address (excludes Scottish Highlands). Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be dispatched the same day and arrive the next working day. Please note that the delivery time can be up untill 6pm and a signature will be require upon delivery. In November and December delivery times can extend beyond 6pm due to the increase in volume the courier companies experience.

* All Toner cartridges will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class or Next Day Courier, even when the Free Standard Delivery option is selected.

If goods cannot be dispatched within a reasonable time we will email you to advise you of this and, if there is to be a delay, ask if you wish to continue with the transaction and offering you the opportunity to cancel or part-ship your order. If for any reason we cannot send your order by the delivery method selected, we will upgarde your delivery method to the next available service at no extra cost to you. At our discretion we may upgrade larger orders to next day courier at no extra cost to you.

When an order is sent by Royal Mail and has not been received It is worth noting that we find a high proportion of missing items are held at local sorting offices or are held by a neighbour or colleague. Royal Mail should leave a card indicating this, however there are times when these are misplaced or not left at all, so please check first.

Please note that the Royal Mail do not class a package as missing until 15 Working days have elapsed. Further details can be found on the Royal Mail website

If your goods have not arrived within 15 working days, a replacement will be offered or refund as appropriate. We also ask you kindly to complete a ‘missing package form’ which we can then submit to the Royal mail.

Returns Policy

If you purchase the wrong item or decide for any reason that you don’t require the item then you must return the order within 30 days of the original purchase date. The cartridge must be unopened, unused and in a resellable condition. Once received we can issue a refund or an exchange. (Distance Selling Regulations 2010)

It is the responsibility of the customer to pay the full postage cost to return any unwanted items. When a refund is requested, this will take place within 7 days of receiving the returned order. A full refund minus any shipping charges paid will be issued by the same payment method as the initial order.

Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage for any returned items. Cartridge Discount cannot be held responsible for packages that are not received unless proof of postage can be provided.

Before any item is returned we ask that you contact us to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authority) number. The RMA number will be valid for a period of fourteen days from the date of issue by Cartridge Discount.
Please write the RMA number provided clearly on the outside of the package.

We also ask that you DO NOT use the green recycling envelope to return any items. Any items returned in the green mail bags will be sent directly to our recycling department which will delay the process of completing your returned order.

Your RMA Number

Should you wish to return a product please request a RMA by telephone, email, fax or by writing to us clearly stating your full details, order number and reasons for the return.

If A Product Is Faulty

If an item is faulty and you report the problem to us within 30 days from the original order date, we can provide you with an RMA number so the item can be returned for a repair, replacement or refund. When a refund is requested, the full cost of the order including any initial paid delivery options will be issued withinin 7 days.

Don’t worry if an item that you have ordered encounters a fault after the first 30 days. All our products come with a 1 year guarantee, so we can firstly offer a repair service or if not possible a replacement item.

Please contact us before returning any item so we can provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authority) number and the relevant returns address.

Please note we only sell cartridges for UK printers. Cartridges purchased for printers bought outside the UK will not work and cannot be returned unless still in their sealed packaging.

If your goods are damaged

In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit please contact us immediately. Please also retain the original packaging for returning with your order. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever you prefer.

If there has been a packaging error

If there is an error with you package you must contact us within 30 Days so the issue can be resolved.

Non deliveries

Any non deliveries must be reported to us within 30 days of your order.

Application of VAT

The Cartridge Discount is a trading name of Cartridge Tech Limited, which is VAT registered. Therefore VAT is included in our prices. VAT number is 842818316.

All brand names & trademarks are the properties of their respective holders and are referred to for descriptive purposes only. We are not associated with any printer or original equipment manufacturer.

It is strictly forbidden to copy any material from this website for commercial use (other than as necessary for the purpose of viewing the site in the course of business).
