The Apple stylewriter was launched on June 16, 1997 along with the other two HP powered color printing devices- stylewriter 4500 and stylewriter 4100. The device had better connectivity than the other two devices as it has localtalk, serial and parallel connectivity facility. It gives a printing speed of 8 pages for black and white printing. When it comes to color printing, the speed is 4 pages per minute. It came with EtherTalk option and weighs near about 14.7 lbs. Being an Apple product, it is compatible with Macintosh computers.
